Resolved Question

Does beer have an expiration date?

I've had some Corona's in my fridge forever but can't find a 'drink by' date. Will it taste flat? Never been opened.

Yes, all beer has an expiration date. On Corona in this country there is usually an ink date stamp somewhere on the bottle (just a faint sequence of numbers).

From the time that it's made, commercially bottled beer only lasts about a year - regardless of whether it's stored cold or not. The yeast activity continues in the bottle, changing the flavor over time. Canned beer will also, often, pick up a "taint" from the can.

Sorry - I used to do the ordering for a bar. :)
