Does beer have an expiration date?

I've had some Corona's in my fridge forever but can't find a 'drink by' date. Will it taste flat? Never been opened.

On Corona in this country there is usually an ink date stamp somewhere on the bottle (just a faint sequence of numbers). From the time that it's made, commercially bottled beer only lasts about a year - regardless of whether it's stored cold or not. The yeast activity continues in the bottle, changing the flavor over time. Canned beer will also, often, pick up a "taint" from the can. Sorry - I used to do the ordering for a bar. :) Rated: +2Vote for this!
