Yes they change you but mostly for the worse… because you start living only for them and destroying everything and everyone around you.

Unfortunately, drugs (especially prescription drugs) do change your personality over time - That's the main reason why my 2nd wife and I split up - her addiction to prescription drugs.

No they enhance your personality. The reason that drugs are bad is that most people are ******* so when they are "enhanced" they are just bigger asssholes.

Isnt that also a change in personality? i mean since nicotine is a very mental drug a lot of people tell when they quit they experience a lot of **** why would it be out of the case that you also change while you inhale nicotine?

Oh is this a tobacco bash I would hate to stand against that. You know tobacco built this country or at least funded the building of It while we poisoned the world and killed off the indigent people, but like all evolution these things to will become obsolete. such is the way of tobacco use, and though I suspect it will always be around it will greatly decline in use. As a society we never take the measures required to atone for these heinous deeds of our predecessors so we look for new ways to poison, pollute and commit genocide. Ah drugs they work so well they have helped us finance illegal wars and kill off undesirables within our communities, but at this point in time I would pose that the use of prescription drugs is a bigger problem than the use of illegal drugs. Pharmaceutical companies are great contributors to our corrupt political system and we as guinea pigs for their experimentation suffer and are ignored just more undesirables I guess, and though we are not fully aware of all the complex chemical changes prescription drugs make on users I am sure that they have been designed to create many personality enhancements such as: causing the users to be more easily controlled through suggestive language and flashing lights. Wait, no, that would not be possible, how could such a thing be administered? with that kind of power someone could...I don't know cause the worlds financial markets to collapse

weed is a drug, and so is nicotine - and yes, people on pot act like morons. Cigarettes may not make you act stupid, but they sure do look stupid in your hand, and when you know they are killing you it's a stupid decision to continue.

Depends on the drug, the situation, and the person. And not all drug-induced personality changes are a bad thing. I for one am much less of a B I T C H after having inhaled Cannabis.

so they do change your personality while you are affected by the drug, but do you change as a person afterwards?

If you become addicted (not neccicarily will, either, marijuana has the same addictive potential as coffee), then some of your personality will change because of your cravings, and this will drive an honest person to lie, steal, cheat, ect.
