Yes it does at the bottom right hand corner of the screen, you have to enable it in your account options.

yeah go into your settings and enable chat

Yeh but you have to enable it. I don't think many people have worked that out that it has chat. I haven't actually used it mind but I know you have to be 'friends'

Yes.. it is having and you can enable that, if you want.

i have a google +1 bar on my mac when on EP(it does not show on my iPad) that has my avatar and when i click my avi a list of the people in my EP circle comes up but nobody else in there is online right now, but i do believe that is a chat box
