i can definitely identify with his sense of being... different from everyone else, like that he just doesn't fit in. i've never quite fit in, so i can understand that feeling.
dexter also has quite the dry wit at times, something i very much enjoy and use myself at times.
and i can understand his desire to protect the ones he loves and to remove evil from the world. i can understand he's trying to do the best he can with a life that has dealt him a rotten hand.
i can relate a lot to dexter morgan. you know, other than the whole killing thing.
and i have to say i'd love to date a woman like deb morgan, to go off on a tangent...

Yes. It would be so nice to do away with evil to my own liking. Would it take a toll? Most definitely. Would I even be able to differentiate between right and wrong after a time? Hmmmm

I think so. He's seen as a bit of an outsider and a lot of people can identify with that.
