Does God scare you? How do you feel about God?

No..not at all..In fact it is the opposite, If I feel scared, then I think of Daddy God and his love for me, I dont feel scared anymore!

I am really amazed at God. I would never even dream of bearing somebody else's punishment, That too..I would never do it, If I was the most powerful being and I dont need any favour from that person and that person does not even care about me and treats me like the biggest problem.

But God..the most powerful being in the whole universe has the kindest heart of all. I feel loved when I think of God. I know he is the only person who knows all about me and yet he loves me the most because he cared to become sin for me so that I can be made righteous when I did not even care..It is kind of too good to be true..I am so glad it is true.

When I am smiling, I bring a smile to his face
When I am crying, I feel his embrace
When I am troubled, I can see the cross
It tells me I'm important to him

Though He's the God of the Heavens, The sun moon and stars
The judge of the whole world, The saviour of all
The Holy and Awesome one, the angels adore
But he is my daddy, I am always important to him

He is the God of Creation, He made the world
He is God the provider, he gave me his son
And When I say "Daddy", I know it is done.
Cos I know I'm important to him

No problem too big for him, he cannot lose
When I call my Daddy, Its the enemy's doom
He's never too busy, to hear me talk
Cos he is my daddy, I am very important to him

Troubleshooter	Posted May 5th, 2009 at 11:16AM Okay ... am I supposed to be afraid of something / someone for which there is no direct evidence, no means of establishing contact with, whose only alleged evidence is a book which is a contradictory and incomplete collection which itself was assembled by men with their own agenda? dedre	Posted May 6th, 2009 at 8:55AM If I were to witness direct evidence of his existence, yes it would scare the ** out of me, just as anything based in faith-then-turned-fact would scare me, because analytically God and religion to me make no sense, and if I saw proof of that...well **, I'm condemned for a choice that I was granted and God didn't give me enough faith to believe in him, so I'd probably try to jab 'im in the throat repeatedly as angels are dragging me to the garbage chute to hell. dotan	Posted May 5th, 2009 at 10:27AM God does not scare me. to me, he is a person who are as many normal men. How can I say to you? A friend, an uncle, a father. He is friendly but both warm and cold. I have said many people said about him as something very holy but to me, he is not. But there is also nothing called holy or higher than he is in my heart. Equis	Posted May 5th, 2009 at 10:46AM Why will God be scary? He created man, he gave him free will to do as he pleases, be it good or evil. So I don't think there is really a "Wrath of God" (if there were, we would be seeing lightning coming down to kill people every single day). Depending on how you live, when you die you will be given the fruit of your labor: if you did good, will go to heaven, if you did bad, will go to hell. But that's more of a cause & effect thing, IMHO. I don't even think that God punishes, he just gives you trials so you learn and evolve, or just loose yourself to the darkness of life. God is not like us given to the weakness of character that we have, not petty or decietful. God is, was and always will be the Lord of all He created. If I do not believe in God, He is still God.
