Does going back with an ex ever actually work?

I guess it really depends on the people in the relationship and if they are commited to fixing what went wrong in the first place. My husband and I split for nine months when were were dating and now were happily married...most of the time anyway!

geenpunchbuggie	Posted Jul 15th, 2009 at 11:28AM i doubt it. i really see it as going backwards... the only way something like that MIGHT work is if you dated as a teen or VERY early 20-something and then met later on when you were established and whatnot. that is the period fo time in which people would be more likely to change in a significant enough way. iristemple	Posted Jul 15th, 2009 at 11:16AM well in my past history the answer is NO. but i am sure there are times it may be possible as i do beleive people change and are regreatful of how they treated you.but, they are xxx's for a reason so be sure you don't trust to deep till you are sure of their reasons for coming back into your life, they just may be passing through again.
