Does he hate me, like me, or just doesnt care?

When he talks to me, he has a softer voice. A lot softer like he was whispering. It sounded like the sweetest voice I have ever heard. and I'm not being biased. Then when I dropped my papers, he was the first to help me with them, but that was also coz he was near, but the guy friend who was with him didnt help me! But then when we were riding the jeep going home, he didnt make me sit down because he and his friend were reserving the seat for another guy friend. I dunno wat happend but maybe one of my friends moved so I was able to sit on the seat for his friend. I remember before when I needed a seat, he gave his to me, but that was when his other friend wasnt with him. And he stares at me from afar and looks at me when I laugh, and he can sense when I'm near like I was walking at his back and he felt I was there! So now what can you make of him?? He also never ever courted a girl!

unicorn59	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM It reminds me of the Grease scene, where John Travolta tries to act all macho in from of Kinicky....and pretty much shuns Olivia Newton John, and she can't figure out where the "other guy" went, because he was acting like someone else.... That said...how old is this guy? I am a bit concerned he's never dated another girl.....that seems odd.... Not only that, if he treats you differently in front of some, or even one of his friends...don't even consider him as a prospect....He should treat you respectfully, no matter who is in the room. Boys (and even some men) tend to tease other boys when they do the things you mentioned...talk in a softer voice, get up so you can sit down...because it appears that they are "weak". Being sensitive and showing emotion is often a sign of weakness to the male species BUT only due to a long-standing societal norm that, in my opinion, does nothing to make PEOPLE stronger. Talk to him about how it makes you feel when he treats you differently...maybe you can come up with a way to keep his masculinity safe in front of his friends while also showing you the respect you deserve...make it fun and a joke just between the two of you...keep us posted on how it works out! freeflowing	Posted Feb 5th, 2009 at 5:58PM he 100% likes you but hes probably unsure how to approach/deal with the situation. it obvious fact that when a guy speak to you in a different tone then everybody else he has a soft spot for you but doesn't want to convey it around other people. the seat situation he probably wasn't thinking about the whole or ordeal or didn't wan to treat differently around other males so chalk that up to his male pride. approach with caution though. try to say something nice about his clothes or shoes or appearance around other people or in private and see how he responds.
