I guess the one thing you have to keep telling yourself is that guys are basically animals. They're always looking for someone to sleep with and not necessarily someone that they want to spend the rest of their life with. I'm not saying that all men are bastards, but they do have that biological urge ticking over constantly in the background. You'll know better than me whether he's genuinely interested in you. Perhaps your friends have a reason for suggesting that you should try spending time with other guys. Next time you get a chance, ask your friends 'why' they might think this guy isn't genuinely interested. They may have heard something about him that might make you think twice about taking the relationship any further. Good luck!

I would think that there must be something there on his end or else why does he stay in constant contact with you? Hang in there and see what happens. In the meantime don't turn down any other offers for a date with someone else if the opportunity presents itself. You can't wait around on him. If it is meant to be it will happen.

he sounds like just a friend...you can't force things to happen. You have told him how you feel...that is all you can do. Don't wait around for him to make up his mind. I would tell him one more time...then move on, life is short and to full of great experiences! :)
