Does it annoy you when people say they are starving, but really theyre just hungry?
People always say theyre starving. if your starving yourself or you cant afford food, then yes, you are starving. if your just hungry, then your not starving. does that annoy you or am i the only one?

doesn't it annoy you when people get annoyed at hungry people who say they are starving instead of just saying that they are hungry because hungry people get dramatic when they get really hungry and for a lot of really hungry people being really hungry means they are starving. I find that annoying.

It's just a phrase with more than one meaning, I say it when it feels like my stomach has grown teeth and is eating itself.

No. It's just a figure of speech. I know what they mean. I have known this figure of speech, among others, to annoy two people with Asperger's though. People with Asperger's don't understand figures of speech because they are literal people, so they can't infer what people "mean", thus the phrase frustrates them.

I tell you what does annoy me. People who say something was "hysterical" when they mean really funny. Hysterical doesn't mean funny. They could say "hysterically funny" - but they don't and it really grates on me.
