    Short term yeah, but then I think that they're probably just jealous, and one time I heard this really good quote about jealous people. Something like, don't hate anyone who's jealous of you, because the people who are jealous of you are those who think you're better than them.

    I get annoyed lols and just keep bringing it up if my friends dont recognise but usually they do for me in a jealous type response or the "good for you" kind :)

    Good for you! Sounds like you like the results. That's not an easy thing to do and usually takes a lot of work. Now you'll be able to enjoy it for a long time to come.

    yeah, that might be painful but can't say i really look to compliments so I wouldn't be offended. No it doesn't make me sad. Major achievements become history very soon and it's more like, 'what have I done lately?",
