    I do not believe love wears out with time....I believe infatuation, lust and newness of a relationship wears off in time and if love isn't in the equation, the relationship will most likely end.

    i think it does, today people change and want to see the greener side of things, then they come back and want you to forget the past like it never happened, it did, love is something you have to both work on, most get lazy, once they screw up they find out they screwwed up then come back, too bad when the op finds someone else, then they make trouble for the op with their new relationship cuz they screwed up.

    If we had a FMRI scanner and two in love people who were very still for say 40 years we would know for sure.
