humans evolved from primate apes which are mostly vegetarians and eat some insects as addition to plants.but humans also evolved brain and then fire.meat was accidentally burned when humans killded their predators.and in lack of food they tasted cooked meat.this is how humans stopped being vegetarians and became omnivorous.since then the taste buds on our tongue have lost the good ffling for the plants and started 'loving' the taste of meat, with very bad consequences: heart dicease and stroke.but the dammage has been done.humans cant forget meat.i am almost a vegetarian, but i still love meat.so,no humans cant forget their first emeny as far as their nutrition is concerned, the animal courcce foods.and hey pay highest possible price, with lives.

The longest I've ever gone without meat is when my parents didn't see the fine print before sending me off to what turned out to be a vegitarian summer camp. After two weeks, that hamburger I had on the way home might have been the best tasting meat I've ever eaten ;-) lol
