Does misery really love company?

I'd give anything to have a sick buddy to lay in bed and watch movies with right about now!

It's been my experience that the "Misery junkies" LOVE to draw people into their horrible little world. Misery usually LOVES ATTENTION...

Misery loves company like a false idol on an alter.

said in another way, sort of like the "blind leading the blind"
not that there's anything wrong with that.
Its just an analogy.

If Misery loves company, then misery doesn't want to change to elation, health, etc.
Whose going to be the healthy nourishing mentor?

Faucon's few words were some of the most eloquent I have read. "Misery Junkies"-yep, thats it and they always seem to need a fix.

I believe that misery can someday be one's ministry. I believe this because I am actively seeking people on EP, who've gone through similar experiences like myself, and found some who've gone through much worse. One thing I'm absolutely sure of is that I don't want to link-up with a dead-end pity-party, but instead seek people to work together to heal our hurts and become truly free!
