I drove an old truck that premium gas actually made it run better. What I drive now doesn't make any difference. It's much newer, and certainly not that finicky.

don't think so ,,,,higher octane is designed for engines with high compression to prevent pre-ignition(ping).....which is very harmful to a four stroke engine resulting in severe damage
