It's all a matter of visual perspective I guess :D
For those close to that height, it doesn't seem tall at all.
For those almost a foot shorter, it is definately tall, considering they are eyeballing someone at most likely chest level!
Also, organisations with height requirements to join,or for some medical and scientific purpose, this is where an official consensus grid is most likely to be used.

To me its tall, but tall is a good thing especiallly if your like 6'2 or 6'3......
