Does 'the one' exist?

Sure I think there are people for everyone or least most everyone lol and at a particular point and time we can fine 'one' person that fits us perfectly. But we change just as life and situations always do and as we move a different person might fit us as well or better. People don't evolve or change at the same rate with others. SO I think there is 'the one' and that some people grow and are flexible enough to always be with that person for life. But more often we meet more than one person that matches up in different ways at different times. SO if you have met 'the one' and it doesn't work out .... it is possible to meet another person later that is 'the one' then- life is full of opportunities and experiences.

have never had an argument and beyond any doubt my bride gets more beautiful, inside and out, everyday. How much better could it get?

I think "the one" does exist, their just very hard to find, and if you do, you're very fortunate.

I sure hope so. Although I wonder a lot if all of this talk about 'the one' is pure crap. I'd love to hear someone say truthfully that they have found 'the one'. The one person that completes them and makes them feel like their life is fine as long as they are with that person. I dream of finding 'the one' but I'm not sure if I believe in 'the one'. Please prove me wrong if you believe in 'the one' and have found 'the one'.

But i thought I am the one....? well, it seems like we have to change the question to "Does many exist"...

yes but note that you can make any man/woman you love "the one". because if a man really loves you, he will be everything you dream of and if you really love him, you will be everything beyond his dreams.

the best way i can see to put it is this: the one....not so much. there are many people compatible with one another. in order for one to distinguish whether a particular person is right for him or her, two things must occur ( one if you are extremely lucky and meld well with your first relationship) 1: does this person meet the criteria of the desired traits one has gathered through previous relationships? 2: is one willing to tolerate the worst traits this individual has for the rest of ones days on this planet? after all, to truly love someone is to want what is best for him/her regardless of personal gain. so toleration/compromise is necessity.
