Does this Guy Like Me?

I boy in my class came up to me and hugged me. Somepeople said it was a joke, including the guy that hugged me. A few people, who are really close to him, said it wasn't and he likes me. I am confused. HE acts the same around me as ever, so does he truly like me? I don't think so but my friends do. I am not exactly the most popular girl, but he is popular. I just don't seem like his type. Does He like Me?

I have no idea...
why don't you just be yourself and talk to him... hang out with him and your friends if you can... just relax and see what happens. If you get a chance to talk to him, do so... but don't stress over it. It's so hard to understand and figure out boys when they are in high school...

If you don't feel like you are his type, and he disowns an interest in you, I'd let go of the idea of being interested in him. The last thing you want is to be a booty call for a popular kid who has no interest in a real relationship.

Probably, But I would not date a guy who is not mature enough to admit that he hugged me cause likes me.

I don't think a hug alone is a sign that he likes you as any more than a friend. You'd have to put it together with the other ways he treats you.
Who hugs as a joke? It's a pretty un-funny one, if it's true.

I can't really give you a straight answer with there only being a hug girl. I give girls hugs all the time, even when i first meet them. It's just the way i am, im a huggable nice guy. It could be a joke, cause if he really liked you he would have the guts to tell you himself. Try not to get your hopes up though, atleast not till you really know.
