Does this mean I am going insane?

I keep seeing things that aren't there, hearing things that no one else hears, smelling odours that apparently aren't there etc. Am I going insane?

Sounds like a brain tumor. I'n not kidding, go to a doctor and get a cat scan.

On the other hand, the drugs could have finally kicked in...stay away from the brown acid.(seriously, go to a doctor)

People whose psychic senses are being opened up also can feel that they are going insane, because they sense things that the average person doesn't. Don't let yourself be bullied into going into a psychiatric ward until you've checked that out with a competent psychic, as well as the other things mentioned above.

If it is developing psychsm, you will learn in time to be able to control it. The psychatrists will want to put you on drugs to control it; that leads (I believe) to a rather horrid "drugged out" feeling and of course wastes the talent, if it is psychism.

Could be. Could be a tumor. What are your other symptoms? I would check it out at a doctor's first, to rule out something physical, then head to a pschiatrist if nothing comes up. Auditory delusions are a symptom of schizophrenia, but not many disorders have thier own odors!

Maybe you have a ghost in your house, and it's connecting only with you!

Some women find that their sense of smell and hearing seem to improve when they get pregnant - but the visual hallucinations are more troubling. As several people have suggested, this could be a sign of a brain tumor. Go to a doctor.

Maybe you're the sane one and everyone else is mad.

If you're really worried, see a doctor.
