Does this sounds good?

Okay so I like this guy and he works at the gym. I'm going to ny on monday for three weeks and I really want to make a move or something. I usually talk to him before or after my workout. So I was thinking when I ask him how he is he usually asks me the same thing so I could be like I'm excited because I'm going to new york tomorrow (btw it would be on sunday that I would do this) and I could fit into that convo that I'll be gone for 3 weeks and he should text me then I could give him my number...how is that or I was thinking about asking what he was doing after work and if he says nothing I could ask him to ice cream......so what sounds good? or do you have any suggestions?

I personally would wait till you get back..... when you do ask him out, you want to be able to make a plan with him, not text back and forth for 3 weeks... till it fizzles...

If you are going to do it before you leave, ask him out for ice cream that night, right then and there!

Ohhh... you should sooo ask him out before you leave... dress a little flirty and then the ice cream thing will 'plant you in his mind' while you are gone for 3 weeks... DO NOT text him, call him, or anything... let him 'simmer'... remember men are genetically designed to 'love the hunt' if he has even a mild interest in you now this will light a serious flame under it. When you get back and see him in the gym that next time tell him you were thinking about him while you were in NYC and see his response... he'll either have not really had any interest in you or immediately ask you out... my money if he says 'yes' to the ice cream 'social' is he asks you out...

You could just have, dinner, sex, swap numbers and let him know you really liked him and explain you wanted to get his attention before you went to NY and you hope to continue this relationship when you get back.
