Yes yes yes , it prevents people to sometime think freely and move freely.<br />
I believe that tradition was created to give a sense of structure to those who have least idea of how to /what to....however it does not work for everyone.

Oh. It sure can, but not always. I think some religious traditions in some parts of the world keep people in the 7nth century, but there are also traditions of excellence and exceptionalism.
