Yes when my mom says, "I know what you did today." Then doesn't say the thing I was thinking

yes, I've always had that. I've talked to my doctor and he said it was pretty normal, but I had some tests done to make sure. Everything was normal, but I would still have pounding heartbeats to where it was interfering with my life. Now I take a beta blocker twice daily and I havn't been able to feel my heartbeat since. The silence is bliss.

it really doesn't feel normal does it? Its scary sometimes! It is worth mentioning to your doctor though, just to be safe. Beta blockers are meds used to control high blood pressure, but they are also used to keep your heart from beating too fast. I've found that deep breathing also helps when your ticker starts racing.
