    Different religions have different interpretations

I don't support any religion - I believe in the inherent goodness of people, humanities natural striving to know moe and do more, and the self reprigin mechanism of nature. If anything - from what I have seen - closest to ntive american way of thinking.

BUT if your body is a mechanism in which you live - "you" being your soul / essence / spirit everything that makes you you, then there i a question

Is that part of the mechanism of the body or something different something spiritual, a new undsicovered energy type, a ghost of you.

When the mechanism dies - then the spark may die and the essence of you is gone forever

Some people think that when people die the emotional stress of the death makes your essence radiate so strongly that your essence is imprinted on things around you. New strong emotions can radiate a power that sets off that image like installing a new battery and your ghost appears in that location - not you, just a recorded image of you that is "played" from the sourroundings where it was stored at your death

Some people think that there is a finite number of spirits, and that they are recycled. when they die they are reborn into a new body and new life. The evidence that is claimed to support that is work that has been done by hypnotising people and taking them back to remember past lives. Two things I ask about that are

    a) How much is the person hypnotising the subject "guidiing or suggesting" material to them, creating the past life memory themselves

    b) When you read of people remembering past lives they are always kings, or knights, or heroes etc. I have never read of somebody remembering being the guy who cleaned out the pig pooh in some mud hut in the year 1327

There is a lot to think about - please send me proof one way or the other if you find it - OR suggest alternate theories if you hve them

PS I read a lot ( it passes the time sitting in the closet - ha ha)

I see.....thanks lots! As you can see this is as much insight as i've seen in an answer so far T_T....So yeah! :D! And i get it, yeah. There's so many ways to look at it. I was looking at it from a non religious point of view. But i HAVE heard that we all have some energy in us and that energy balances the world. And so when we die, it goes out and so US the 'energy' contributes by going back to the world, be it nature or another way, i don't quite remember. So it's sort of a cycle....this is just a question that keeps on nudging my mind from time to time so i was wondering if anyone had ever gotten an answer XDD! But i doubt there's a 'the answer' because if we don't agree we'll just disagree or not believe it anyways. This is just a result of wondering, i guess. AGAIN! Thanks for answering, and yeah, i'll send you proof or alternate explanations if i happen to come across some! =)

Thanks Have you heard of people having an Aura - an energy glow that some people can see and that some people claim they can photograph. That aura could exist and be the energy that makes us Add that to ley lines - have you heard of them. In the UK there is a hisotry that says centres of religion and other furvour were built at specific places. Places like stonehenge, hill forts, castles etc were all built at the locations where ley lines cross or meet The theory is that there is a cosmic energy running through the earth that joins all things together. Where those lines cross or meet that power is particulalry strong and easier to tap into - so that is where the ancient people built their monuments etc On the other hand I saw a documentary in which a professor sought out some locations and put them on a map - and was surprised to find how many atually lined up pretty well on lines across the country. Then he laughed because the locations he had plotted were the supermarkets of one national chain. His explanation was that the UK is so small and crowded that you draw a line anywhere there will be a lot of locations on that line so it proves nothing! I still feel that the energy isue needs more investigation!

There are two dimensions to life- physical and spiritual. Your body is the physical and your soul is the spiritual. Your soul was created by God as was your body. When your body dies, your soul will go to either heaven or hell, depending on the decision you made when you were alive: whether or not you chose to accept the gift God is offering to every soul on earth. The gift of eternal life in heaven. This is totally not an extensive answer, but if you would like to know more, please don't hesitate to contact me on my EP profile. God bless you!

Your heart dies, your soul goes on forever, it is the part that goes to God or Allah or whatever you choose to call your greater spirit.
