How about reinstituting the NRA .22 rifle ranges they had at schools in the 30's? Rifle clubs taught a lot of kids the right way.

I know of a couple of high schools that still have a rifle club. But because of this day and age, they're trained with air rifles.

I don't care how much Republicans and Europeans carry on about gun control, guns are a crime deterrent. I always point to a town in Georgia (help me out here, I can't think of the name but it's on the tip of my tongue) that has a law mandating that every household have at least one registered gun. That town has one of the lowest crime rates in the country.
