Being successful requires making mistakes. It is impossible to achieve one without racking up the other.
True,as the saying goes,the person who has never made a mistake,has probably never made anything.
The only thing I know for sure about life is that it is from the mistakes that greatness. This holds true regardless of whether it's personal greatness, technological greatness, scientific greatness, etc.

Really I really don't think so, I've seen this first hand with my sister, and believe me she has no common sense
A mistake can be a gamble that gone wrong. IF you are succesful you have taken chances some work some don't. some come back to bite some don't ALL you learn by some are just big mistakes....nothing ventured nothing gained.
I don't know that they do as a rule. We all make mistakes in life and being successful doesn't guard you from this.
Maybe... sometimes they are overly confident (egoistic), too cautious, too loving or too busy with things they shouldn't have. Well... we all did stupid mistakes. Most people will try to find fault at the successful people but not reflecting themselves. So when a successful person makes a mistake, a hatred crowd will smile upon his/her misfortune. This hatred crowd will make his/her mistake as a big problem, when in fact they are trying to hide their flaws.
