People can do whatever, but for me I never saw the point. I've had alcohol in various forms over the years; sometimes liking the flavor, sometimes not. So I'm curious, how and why do you make it a part of your regular lifestyle? I just never understood.

    I love to brew complex ales, and I love wines for the same reason - the fascination with the taste, the aroma, etc. I hate soft drink and other sugary alternatives. I don't drink to get drunk, it's just an enjoyment thing. Fully agree that those who don't drink get given a hard time.

    Finding an attractive flavor would be the biggest pull for me in wines. And you brew? wow, I've never been a fan of beer in general, but my brother took me to an Irish pub in Chicago and Bought me an Amber of some sort. It was surprisingly tasty. It was a good treat.

    Me neither. I tried for a few months to keep up with my partner; then I told him that I couldn't do it anymore. I like a Bailey's a couple of times a year. That is the extent of my drinking these days.

    Try it sometimes poured over a dish of vanilla ice cream. it is the only way I ever have it. That is my dessert treat when I go out for my birthday and for Mother's Day. They are the two time a year that I have it.
