    They introduce you because it's like a formality but we won't always "click" with everyone we meet. It can be temporarily awkward but at least we only have to spend a limited amount of time in their presence :)

    The one thing I hate more than anything is when someone introduces me to someone with a glowing run down of how talented or wonderful they think I am. It is flattering of course but people detest egotism and I always feel that it immediately makes a new person prejudice against you because it comes across that you are right up your own ***.
