J'aime le nord, j'y vais régulièrement et j'ai plusieurs amis labas. Le fait que je parle francais aide beaucoup, je ne peut pas vraiment imaginer comment quelqu'un qui ne parle pas francais peut voyager en dehors de Paris...

I was in Paris 40 years ago. Couldn't enjoy the view, had to keep my eyes on the sidewalk because of all the dog poop.
Very rude people! Guy in a train station wouldn't sell me a ticket until I pronounced the name of my destination correctly. He was very angry !
