Who knows, exactly, but they went OOBiz couple of years ago already, around Chicago! But, mmmm, now it's Hibachi Grill!

Same thing has happened here. I drove by and the parking lot was empty and no lights on. It always looked like there was a good number of patrons all of the time.

Because some other business comes along & buys em out. Or maybe the health department found out what really was in their food & ordered it to be shut down immediately, OR maybe the owner was that busy he/she can afford to retire now & enjoy their life.
