    I think you should speak the way you are. Why would you affect another's speech patterns? By the way, there is no such thing as speaking like a redneck. Being a Southerner, I feel that you are trying to lump us all into the redneck label and it isn't true.

    understandably. I suppose what I mean in my question is, here, where e'rything has to be typed out, does the use of dropped letters and misspelt words to indicate "character" bother anyone enough to block somebody?

    I didn't know it did indicate character. I thought it indicated poor grammar. But no, I would block no one for that.
