I've lived most of my life in the USA. Convenience, plenty of what I need, even an abundance of what I don't need. But after spending several weeks in Zimbabwe last year, I began to realize how spoiled I am. The people there often go without even what is basic. Limited electricity, water shortages, and sometimes, food shortages. People suffering with curable/treatable diseases because they lack money to get medicine; or the medicine is not available. Going without while there helped me to appreciate more what I have. And, to no longer take it for granted.

As for me I hate carrying around a bunch of stuff in my pockets. Digs at my legs and makes it uncomfortable to sit =^)

Simple question to answer....
Empty pockets is a mental experience teaching you to how to be humble and appreciate the simple things you need in life.
When full pockets simply offer a gratifying physical experience making ones self loathe in the feeling of having something new, something fancy or an unnecessary yet pleasurable experience.
