You're better off asking 'who hasnt lost a job they wanted' I bet you 99% of people... Me? I lost three to date

I had the ultimate let down once. Went in for the interview, aced all the questions, interviewer told me I did awesome, said they'd call me later. Call never came. Went back to ask about it, got the cold (very cold) shoulder, which was very unprofessional by the way. Could have just told me they had chosen another candidate. I'd have still been disappointed, but then I wouldn't have been angry too.

I believe most people have. At least, those who have done any serious job hunting. Otherwise everyone who wanted to be employed would be employed and they would all have the job they wanted.

I've never had a call back about not getting a job.
My problem is that I have to be careful where I apply because if I'm not good enough to work there then I'm certainly never giving that business any of my money ever again.Like (1)

Do employers even bother to call you if they aren't hiring you? They don't here.

I thought I was surely in for a job and got a call that they didn't want me. Was pretty crushing for a few days afterwards. I know it's nothing personal, I just don't like feeling insignificant and unwanted.
