Ever heard of a second chance prom?
ok my fiance didnt get to have a prom (he was homeschooled) or go to football games or any of the "normal" things teens went through during highschool. we have been out of school for almost 3 years now and he wishes he had a prom. has anyone heard of a "second chance prom" near tennessee or alabama. i know there was 1 1ce a year at the vonbron civic center but cant find any info on it. i was even thinking that if i cant find anything just to make me and him dress up and have our own prom just the two of us, but i think he wanted a little more. hes not gonna die without a prom, its just that i want to do something nice for him :) any ideas?

I'm just like your fiancee, I never had a prom but it was because our school doesn't do proms or any of the other normal school activities (it was an evangelical school and it was torture).
Your fiancee is lucky to have a woman like you worrying about making a 2nd chance prom just for him.
If you want to could do the prom yourself or rent a place to hold the prom, invite all his friends and family that you know he'll spend a good time with, play his favorite music and serve his favorite snacks and drinks (now that you can drink alcohol you can serve them too) and crown him as the prom king and crown yourself as the prom queen. Slow dance a special song for your each other to make a memorable moment.
I hope you can do the prom for him and everything goes well. -
I never heard of one. I think there are some things you can't make up later. The prom seems like a harmless enough one to go to though. It would show you care. You are sweet to think of this.

I think they hold it at Last Chance Saloon?

Yeah my local radio station hosts one each year.

Why not have one in your own backyard? You can set up lights and tables and invite your friends and/or family members. Make sure you play all his favorite songs and serve food you know he'll love. You can even surprise him by crowning him the prom king. Good luck.
