I leave them alone and they leave me alone. It's an arrangement we're both happy with.

I have seen them, in this place I go skiing, they were always 100 feet away but for me that was so close.

Never dared to touch though.

i have a friend who for what ever reason raises semi-domesticated wolves, probably to people who have the same interest you have. from what i understand although they look some what like dogs they are far from being domestic and the new owners of the wolves never seem to be able to keep them. just too dangerous, if you are wanting one, or just wanted to pet one, a good breeder can produce a near look-a-like and while still dangerous, not near as aggressive, just google it

i have never touched them ..BUt i have a home in the country in fact about 5 years ago my Mom and I had the privilege of caring for rescued animals when she was till alive.. We cared and nursed back to health florida cougar that was brought to us ..It was a among many exotic pets some one had some how acquired when it was kitten, needless to say such Isa federal offense to won an endangered species..it was about approximately a year old and weighed at 128 lbs..I enjoyed getting to care and feed this magnificent creature..I gained its trust to a point i would enter the pen and it would aly n my asp ..And yes hey purr just like a big kitty cat does..MY Aunt almost had a heart attack seeing me in the pen with it..I named her Isis ..She would hurt me and i bonded..sadly it had to end the day she was sent the the children's zoo in Bush Gardens.. over the years i had the privilege of caring for dozens of species both domestic as well as exotic..I have soft spot for horses though..But Emus bring me happy memories..But hey have a powerful kick,,never walk directly towards an Emu....LOL..I did once got kicked in my fruits basket..lol.. I stayed way out of its way the next time..Male Emus are highly territorial,,and at the time i was about his height ..lol..Ever want to see a dinosaur just watch Emus how they walk act.. next to reptiles especially alligators they are close as one can get to seeing one..lol..We have small keys deer about as big Asa medium size dog that will eat right from your hand and so much more of natures children ..which included rare southern red wolves..MY homestead edges the Everglades national forests..

Yeah, I've seen them. I live near the woods. They were circling the dog pen but luckily the dogs were inside... Oh, and a lot of time they're on the roads at night. It's scary as all hell.

When I was somewhere between 4 and 7 I honestly thought my brother was a werewolf- he had long scraggly hair and he would howl at the moon.
