I worked at a university and have witnessed it, irritating and loud voices, they were co-workers and got talked to.

My relatives did it all the time. Fighting in Russian, German. It is no different than seeing anybody fight. It is uncomfortable because you know people are angry.

I can top that, I have had several arguments in a foreign language. That is the favorite move of my wife, when she starts losing an argument she tries to handicap me with Spanish. But as Spanish has about 20 times more cure words then English, I relish in that language.

It was a bit funny - had a comic sense to it. But in general quite scary, because you have no idea about what is happening and if they are about to start killing each other.

Yup I was in a hotel in Saudi Arabia, there were me and my mum, a Pakistani cleaning guy and a Turkish lady. And only me and mum can understand both Arabic and English, they didn't know a word in English and we were all trying to have a conversation, it was super cool lol
