A person you really love is the person that leaves and you wish them the very best, seeing that they are happier should be enough.
Let him go you'll find someone better in time, this is just one of those unfair and sad things that happen and that you have to learn from.
oneday you might also leave someone that loves you, its not an easy thing to do, so just accept gracefully and focus on being happy and finding a better future.
