Ex on facebook?

So my ex-girlfriend (the one immediately preceeding this relationship) has found me on facebook. My girlfriend found the original message and started messaging her and is now saying things like, "we should all hang out." Um, no. Is it just me or does that seem like a recipe for disaster? She says that just because I've messaged her a few times, like, hey how have you been, that I shouldn't mind hanging out with her. But I do. It would be awkward, and I doubt that I would be able to do anything right the entire night...this is compounded by the fact that I know my current gf thinks I still have feelings for the ex. I don't think I do, but why make things complicated by becoming best friends? I'm sure they'd get along, they both have quirky personalities, am I being selfish, or does anyone think I'm right in saying no to this?

FOLLOW YOUR INSTINCTS! It might turn out OK, just like monkeys might start flying out of your mom's butt. Seriously, do not let current GF have anything to do with former GF. You gotta stop the emailing too. Good luck!

I hope you didn't add her to your friends list and if you did I would remove her ASAP. Why do something like hanging out if it's going to make you uncomfortable.

You are right to say no. She's your ex for a reason.

Don't do it bro!!! It will lead to no good! my friend regrets it (similar situation). I currently had my x find me too. We chat and txt. But that's as far as im taking it. Stick to what YOU think man, not what other people think.

Your ex is an Ex for a reason. Best to have no contact with your ex and move on with your current gf. It is weird, and awkward for all concerned. I used to msg my ex bf, but ive since deleted his number, Why do you want to dig up passed history and feelings. It will only intoxicate your current relationship.
