Merry Xmas is seen to amount to not being able to face up to sayin that word which comes before 'mas, so it's crosses out. A bit like those who type 'G*D' because they are afraid they might hurt their own feeling, or worse still, lose credability to their own beliefs just by writing it! hahaha

why do you have to say any of these? Shouldn't these greetings be reserved for people whom you actually know. I mean why congratulate anyone on something you don't know they celebrate? It's like randomly wishing people happy birthday. Celebrating your holiday doesn't require you to say anything as far as I'm concerned... Not that I really care if wished me a happy bucket day.

I've never heard of someone not being allowed to say "merry xmas," but I have seen people get upset about the phrase "happy holidays."

From the PC persons perspective, I don't see why "Holy Days" is any less religiously oriented than "Christmas".
