    It can be, it depends on respect. If you don't respect yourself you don't respect others so sooner or later the more you are around people you will take them for granted.

    True. If you become rude and stop using your manners with your friends and loved ones, it's a very slippery slope. You should always give your friends and loved ones the same courtesy as you would people outside your close circle.
