There are just so many 80 and 90's songs that are awesome.
I think those 2 decades are some of the best decades for music ever
what I liked about the 80 was that the music was very diverse
so many different types of music was made then and much of that
music had a lot of personality to it.
these days I feel like a lot of the stuff out there is just copy cat stuff
or something that has already been done before.
also these days the crap music gets the popularity and the recognition
a lot of the times and good stuff that is out there does not get
so much recognition.
So well I dont have a lot of time to list all the great music I really like
from the 80's and 90's but I will mention some
Rush - the whole moving pictures album and other stuff they did too
The Police - Just about everything they did in the 80's was great
Til Tuesday - Voices Carry > that song is awesome and has such the 80's vibe
The Romantics - What I like about you
Genesis - In the Air tonight / No son of mine and other stuff from them
Pearl Jam - the Whole Ten album and all their stuff basically
Aerosmith - Dream on / Sweet emotion / Love in an elevator
Billy Idol - White wedding / dancing with myself / Rebell yell
Billy Joel - Lot of stuff from him
Alanis Morrisette - Jagged little pill album and other stuff
New Edition and stuff buy Bobby Brown
Motley Crue - Home Sweet Home and other stuff
Cindi Lauper - True Colors / Time after time
Devo - Whip it
Flock of Seagulls - I ran (such an 80's song)
Foreigner - I want to know what love is
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean / smooth criminal and other stuff
REM - most of their stuff is great
U2 - Most of their stuff > the joshua tree and achtung baby especially
Van Halen - lots of stuff from them. Hot for teacher / 5150 album etc
Tommy Tutone - 8675209 Jenny (one hit wonder but a great song)
Tracey Chapman - Fast Car
Guns N Roses - the whole Appetite 4 destruction album and other stuff
Alice in Chains
Green day - Dookie album was great and other stuff
Nirvana
Def Leopard - Lots of great stuff from them
Tom Petty
Weezer
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - awesome stuff
Thats all for now
there was a lot of great music made in 80's and 90's
