Resolved Question

Favors, should we do?

Some friends or colleagues always ask me favors. Simple favors like "can u send me a music?", "can I go to your house - while I am working on my school assignments", "Can I borrow this?", "Can you make a draw of me" etc. I study during the day, I work in the evening 2 times per week and I do freelancer design. I don't have time to do my own things. Why is it so hard to answer no?

colkoala	Posted Oct 30th, 2009 at 8:44PM Its hard because it sounds like you care if they succeed. Sometimes it helps them more if you let them flouder around a little bit, every favor you do them can be a dis-service as well :) keep it in perspective. Rated: +1Vote for this!
r8r4	Posted Oct 30th, 2009 at 8:40PM midlife is right - say no, but be nice about it "I wish I could help but I've got so much to do" or something like that. The more you say yes, the more you'll be asked to do things. Rated: +1Vote for this!
