Feel like talking?

After a few highschool relationships and reflecting upon such relationships as well friendships through the years, along with personal experiences and self evaluation, Im looking to branch out and meet new women. I'm 17, I've dated girls in my peer group, then I dated older women:2-3 years older than I, but the problem is the age gap. So are there any highschool girls/guys out there who've experienced the same issue: not being able to connect with your peers? ( I fit in well it's just to me I don't feel like I fit, I'm good at acting my age and playing my "part" to give the appearance of flowing with the crowd to avoid ppl and their bs, but this is only at school)

I may be 35 but it seems like if you can't connect to people my age then you are talking to the wrong people. Talking to older people who have shared the same experiences is helpful because you can see how it will affect your future and learn from it. Dating women in a different age group is always hard. As for fitting in with your peers, that is when you want and older persons perspective just as much as someone in your age group. I have been where you are and felt the same way in school.

Like I've made friends at school and it's easy I have plenty, since I was 5 I knew I didn't think or act like most kids so I learned to pretend to,my school social progression: new to loner to nerd/geek to popular to loner(70 pounds overweight) to nerd to popular(lost a lot of weight and got cut) to semi jock to regular(disgusted by fake ppl) to me!

I know exactly what you mean. I have been different my whole life. It may not be the same kind of different you feel you are but society doesn't see the difference. For me I have always been too logical. I have the ability to read and analyze people to know everything they are doing. When I was young I turned that into hiding who I was by evaluating what each person wanted from me and giving them exactly what they wanted. Later I learned I was given this ability for a reason so by the time I hit H.S. I was using the ability to help solve problems. I began small then by Senior year I had stopped 1 suicide and got 3 people off ddrugs and onto the honor roll. My biggest lesson was even if it people want you to be "normal" being different is so much more rewarding. You are the star of your life no one else and don't let others take that from you.
