Fiance now has different goals 4 life: travel the world me: settle help!!?

How much time and thought have you given to this? Why can't you have both? If you're young, go for the exploring the world together, before you settle down. There are thousands of Americans working overseas and they are saving money. So, you could easily pay off your student loan.

What is a farm nurse degree? If you are going to be a nurse, it's a no brainer - you can find a job anywhere. Your fiance is right, the life you want does sound boring. You have your entire life to be stuck with kids and a house payment. Go have an adventure for a year or 2, take lots of pictures, and make great memories that you can share with your kids and grandkids.

It's a lot of work to find an overseas job and a lot of work getting the visa, etc., but it's well worth it - go for it.

you're still young without kids...i say you should travel before settling down. Why not? it'll be fun, you'll see so many new things, etc settling down right away may make it a lot harder to travel and do those kinds of things...you have responsibilities with your home, kids, etc. so go and live life for a while. you might even like it and develop a new dream of your own!

my sister now has two kids and her husband is a nissan enviroment engineer, she work until noon doing mass communications in publishing. He took a week long golf course trip with the buds the other week, and in a few weeks she'll go off with the girls to ski in colorado. They still trip together with the kids, but there's no harm done and they enjoy, both their time and their shared time. It can happen, believe it or not!

first, he just saw the movie, so be weary of the excitement following which might not actually turn into the plans for action (saving money, planning, etc). second, as a girl who has traveled to 4 countries without any riches and quth a "real" job, it is totally possible to see the world even with a "boring" life! be excited that he has a goal to save for throughout the year and make it work into a 2-3 week vacation period that you will both enjoy!

What you do, is both of you need to grow up....I am not trying to be mean, here, but you are extremely young...and I think it's normal to wonder what you're going to be when you grow up.....and your fiance isn't grown up, if he's around your age....guys take a lot longer for that....

You should not ever get into the habit of giving up your dreams for a man....I don't care who it is...you will end up co-dependent and bitter....and what kind of adult wants no house, no job, nothing? A very immature one, that's who.....You sound like the only one in the relationship, with common sense....

I wish you luck....and you might want to rethink just where you might end up, with this guy....You only live once....make it count.
