Or would God reject someone who lives a good life like helping people, volunteering at a food pantry, donating to the poor, etc but accept someone who rapes people, kills people, tortures animals, and steals but believes in Jesus Christ? Non-believers can answer but it'll probably be more along the lines of which one you hear more frequently. I've heard people go both ways.

Yes it should be good enough there is something we could do a little better but let's get real we are not angels here to always do out standing things were only souls.

No good works can't get you in only the blood of Jesus can. And yes nomatter what you've done you can repent and be forgiven and be born again change you life for the better and with jesuss help you can. Repentance isn't just proclaimed with your mouth its your heart and actions

I believe its mostly about being a good person and that you have tried to better yourself along the way. I dont believe that person can spend their entire life being mean and nasty to others and continue to do evil in some way > then just have all the bad they did not matter because they believed in Jesus. <br />
