For christians: When someone dies does there spirit live on?

Until judgement day in the world of the dead.
After that you'll go to heaven, or cease to exist.
But the ceasing to exist does not come before you've seen what God is all about... That is the real hell: missing Him.

That's what I believe.

Since I have stopped practicing religion the only thing I can honestly say I believe, is that I believe in God. I sure hope spirits live on. It is the only thing that keeps me going when I lose someone I love. Rated: +1Vote for this!

axeman66	Posted Jul 5th, 2009 at 5:05PM i'm a Christian, and i believe your spirit lives on and goes to a beautiful place of complete love and understanding, no matter what your personal religious preference happens to be. just do you your very best to be a positive influence on the people and world around you. only those who are consciously bad are excluded. All souls will pass on to the spiritual World of God to receive the consequences of their actions here. The blissful or the hellish conditions fully depend on man's choice with his free will now. Is it reasonable to think that an insignificant atom will continue to exist eternally, while a great being like man will perish? Rated: +1Vote for this!
