US history - April 1865 has to be the most important month when United States actually became The United States. However I am fascinated by the history here from the 1600s to 1800s and the Native American history before Europeans dominated.
European history - the late 1500s through 1700s - the Renaissance after the Dark Ages and how it shaped and made the world we live in now
MIddle Eastern History - 1450s through 1600 - I am fascinated with the changes then and effect of the Ottomans
But this may change tomorrow as something else grabs my interest.
I enjoy reading about the Roman Empire and that general period, and British history up to WWI. And I love watching Korean TV dramas set in the early days of the country, not sure of the actual dates, but the current one I'm watching takes place around 600 C.E.
Dark ages, in British Isles. Pre-Roman period, everywhere.
I'm hopeful it's still in the future.:)
