For the woman only: Describe what you go through during pms time?

I just want to know if I'm normal lol. I go through a week and a half of pure bullshit before mother nature visits. I get really cold, my breasts kill, I crave sweets/chips, my body aches like I'm 80 years old and oh I can't forget the bitchiness either. Is there anyone else that has these symptoms and if so, how do you handle your symptoms?

Depends. Sometimes nothing noticeable happens.

Other times, I seem to develop a temper, but I think that's more because I get excruciatingly bad cramps around that time. (The kind that sometimes keeps me from walking.)

Well i havent had it in 2 and half years thank god.

But it used to start 2 weeks before and i would have this really bad temper, irrational, snapping at everyone and anyone. Would either crave food or go off it. have a bloated belly which made me look pregnant. I would then get a really light period for about 2 days and it would start again in 2 weeks. What a pain in the hole.

I tried all diff pills, nothing worked. Got a coil put in and periods stopped and havent had pms since. Happy days!

i get the pms, but with the added problem of a hormonal imbalance. i want to kill everyone in sight, find everyone irritating and annoying, my temper spirals out of control, i find it difficult to want to be around people without feeling like i want to deck them. i feel like i want to puch and kick everything in sight.

I get moody and irritated for a few days before mine starts and once it starts then I am back to normal. If I am acting like a b****, and you don't know why, now ya know!

Out of the 4 weeks of the month I am hormone free for one of them! Week before = PMT. Crazy vulnerbility, emotional swings.. I feel like my whole body is sensitive.. like if you touched my skin it would hurt (but it doesn't) I lose perspective too! Period week the first 3 days I feel like I'm in mini labour. Serious cramping, I want to eat sweet stuff and hibernate. Then the week where I ovulate.. very sexual! Stilll want sweet things.. then I have a week off where I am not at the mercy of my hormones and I feel normal! Oh joy!! Ha..

It's different every month. 1 week prior to bleeding: breasts swell a full cup size and become sore; bloating. Day before bleeding: "meh" mood and clumsiness. Day 1 of period: cramping, fatigue, digestive disturbances.
I've found that I have no PMS at all when on a vegan diet , though. I have no idea why that is.
