I was born an old soul and raised by an uncle who listened to a lot of popular music from the 40's to the 70's. By the time I was a teenager, my musical taste was pretty well set and I mostly just listened to the oldies, not what my contemporaries were listening to. Of the performers you mentioned, I particularly like Sinatra. Andy Williams and Burl Ives are okay but I'm not in love with them. I've heard Mario Lanza and recognize his talent, though I'm not a huge fan of opera. But I would rather listen to Lanza than rap or Pearl Jam any day.

My definition of love and romance comes from the song "strangers in the night" by Sinatra...I am a 90's child but I love old school music :D

i grew up with a lot of older music my parents are from the older school and liked it too that is how i like it as well as the 70's 80's 90's and even 60's music and some 50's too also today's music is good too
