For those that believe, is your gods forgiveness, unconditional?

When a parent truely forgives their child, it is unconditional. That doesn't mean there are not consequences for their actions. Such is the forgiveness of my God.

GwennaJane	Posted Jul 11th, 2009 at 3:09PM Good question. Made me stop and really think about it. He loves us so much that He gave us free choice knowing that some of us will not chose Him. That must be a hard thing for Him to watch us do. Yeah, I'd have to say His love is unconditional because I know He loves us even if we don't chose Him. It must be hard being God. His love is unconditional but many people feel that being born again means a easy life. It doesnt. rainbowbright123	Posted Jul 11th, 2009 at 4:13PM No gods forgiveness is unconditional. Evey god wants you to do something for his or her forgiveness. That's what is wrong with religion. I am more spiritual than religious. I am Wiccan and there are things that the Goddess wants me to do. I don't ask for forgiveness. Rated: +1Vote for this!

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." So belief in Jesus Christ and what he did for us as payment for our sins upon the cross, is conditioned upon acceptance of this event and who did it. Rated: +1Vote for this!
