For those who have gone, how is the medical treatment in Thailand? Where did you go?

I don't have health insurance and neither does my husband who needs his shoulder replaced totally. I talked to a lot of people including my Dr. who suggested we go to Thailand where the have good treatments for an inexpensive amount. I will be living in South China soon so figured that would be a good time to go. My question is not should we do it but where did people go and how was it and how did they get information? Thanks!

    thailands incredibly cheap if your coming from outside it so that'd make sense
