I voted for him...BOTH TIMES....and yes, I believe it was the right thing to do......

I fought in Desert Storm and would fight for my country again. And die, if needed.

but arguing politics here seems very pointless to me....I know what I know and you know what you know....end of story...

I am not so angry with the folks who voted for Bush in 2000. In their eyes, they were giving him a chance to prove himself, and party loyalty being what it is, of course they were going to vote for the guy with the R by his name.

But for those that proceeded to vote for him again in 2004, after the WMD charade and deteriorating situation in Iraq and a track record of embarrassingly low curiosity and intellect... well, that is less forgivable.

Those people in 2004 were putting party over country, and that is not a very patriotic thing to do. And the world suffered for it. They should be ashamed.

For those that are complaining about Obama's spending, do you realize that inflation isn't as bad as a depression? Wake up and smell the numbers, this recession is going to hell in a handbasket, and yet the official Republican plan is to do nothing, except maybe more tax breaks that only stimulate the wallets of the rich.

For those who voted for Obama, how do you feel about the way he's spending money we don't even have and that our children's children will be paying back?

Definitely.

Somehow I just can't picture Al Gore, with the NYC firefighters, standing atop the rubble of the World Trade Center Tower in the days following 9/11.

And I can't see either Gore or Kerry rallying the UN, or anybody for that matter, to go after the terrorists.

I am in agreement with Vendetta. You knew what you were getting when you voted for Bush the 2nd time. I didnt vote for him. Hell, he should not have been elected in 2000. He will go down in history as one of the worst presidents we ever had.

Voting for anyone is an opinion, and one's opinion is always right, because it is one's right to have an opinion, as we live in a free country. So, it is my opinion that those who voted for President Bush were right to do so, basing their votes on their own opinions, whether it was party-oriented, or because they truly felt he would do the better job.

Can't blame them. Not a whole lot of choices. Most of the time we get the fine opportunity to vote for the ******** or the Jag-Off. Maybe not this time though.

I believe that I voted for who I believed had answers and solutions to things we as a country are facing. But since President Obama won the election I am excited to see what he plans on doing with what he has before him and make this country as great as I believe we are.....even today.
